Foundation donates food, furniture, generator to school

Regalo Hope Foundation (RHF), a Non-profit organisation, has donated food, furniture and other items to assist pupils and teachers in Comenius School, Ikola, Ipaja, Lagos.

RHF Partnership and Communication Strategist, Oreoluwa Abiodun, in a remark during the handover said that the gesture was to enable the school management had the necessary resources for a productive educational experience.

The items were, bags of rice, soft drinks, office chairs and generating set received by the School’s Supervisor, Blessing Shokunbi.
According to her, the mission is to cultivate an environment where pupils and school management could make use of available opportunities and thrive to their fullest potential.

“We are committed to uplifting communities through education, healthcare, technology and this donation is part of our efforts to foster positive change in the community.

“Comenius School, a tuition-free primary school is a school with about 198 pupils run by an NGO. So, this is a way to support in ensuring that both students and teachers operate in a conductive learning environment,” Abiodun said.

In her response, Shokunbi expressed gratitude to RHF, saying that the donation would significantly impact the school’s ability to fulfill its mission of providing education and support to underprivileged children in Ikola community,

According to her, your kindness and generousity have left us immensely grateful and deeply touched.

She noted that the bags of rice would help ensure that the children had access to nutritious meals.

“The pupils are happy with these gifts, particularly the food items because it will enable them to focus on their studies and thrive academically.

“With the generating set, we would be able to provide the much-needed power supply to our facilities, ensuring uninterrupted learning and operational activities.

“Additionally, the office chairs will enhance the comfort and productivity of our teachers, enabling them to better serve our learners. We are sincerely grateful for everything.

“We commend and appreciate your foundation for its commitment to supporting other individuals, schools and the community at large which we are beneficiary.

“Your dedication to making a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate is truly inspiring,” Shokunbi said.
