{"id":20308,"date":"2025-03-03T08:25:21","date_gmt":"2025-03-03T07:25:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thedailynewswave.com\/?p=20308"},"modified":"2025-03-03T08:25:21","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T07:25:21","slug":"police-arrest-three-murder-suspects-after-five-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thedailynewswave.com\/police-arrest-three-murder-suspects-after-five-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Police arrest three murder suspects after five years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Three suspects in a 2019 case involving criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide have been taken into custody by the Jigawa State Police Command.<\/p>\n<p>This was contained in a statement issued by the command\u2019s spokesperson, SP Lawan Shiisu Adam, and made available to DAILY POST.<\/p>\n<p>He said those arrested include Malam Adamu Aliyu, Malam Mukhtar Abdulmumin and Malam Nafiu Ibrahim from Hadejia, Auyo, and Miga Local Government Areas.<\/p>\n<p>He explained, that the suspects were apprehended in Illela, Sokoto State, after an extensive investigation by detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Dutse.<\/p>\n<p>Shiisu said the case dates back to July 2, 2019, when a 19-year-old victim, Ahmad Abdullahi of Fanisau Quarters, was reported missing by his brother, Tijjani Umar, at Hadejia \u2018A\u2019 Division.<\/p>\n<p>According to police findings, \u201cthe suspects lured the deceased with a fraudulent promise of making spiritual money that would enable him to travel abroad for studies.
