President Muhammadu Buhari will on October 21, 2022, decorate Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike with the “Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery” at the forthcoming Nigeria Excellence in Public Service Award by the Federal Government.
The event will take place at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha, disclosed this through a letter, signed by the Permanent Secretary (General Services) in the SGF’s Office, Dr. Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri and addressed to Wike.
The Rivers state governor is reputed to be the leading state administrator in terms of infrastructure delivery for which he is popularly called Me. Project.
According to Wike- “The only way we can show gratitude to the people for the confidence they reposed in us is to continue to serve them with all our heart and might.
“I will continue to commission projects until the last day. We can’t stop. We were elected to serve the people. We will continue to offer quality services to our people.”
