Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been conferred with the honour of Grand Commander of the Federal Republic, GCFR, while his vice, Kashim Shettima was conferred with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger, GCON.
President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday conferred the National Honours on the incoming Nigerian first and second citizens at a ceremony attended and witnessed by high profile members of the society including the diplomatic corps.
The ceremony took place at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
