The Bauchi state Commissioner, ministry of Culture and Tourism, Hajiya Asamau Giade has warned women against voting for APC in the upcoming general elections.
Hajiya Asma’u who gave the warning during Governor Bala Mohammed’s ongoing campaign tour in Giade Local government area of Bauchi recently, said there may be so much hardship that women would not even afford to buy Salt for their meal if they vote APC into power again.
According to her, the alarming rate of prices of food and non-food items in the Nigerian markets under the APC government is a serious issue that calls for concerns of everyone, hence the need to vote them out in 2023.
Hajiya Asma’u who held from the home town of Bauchi APC Governorship candidate, Ambassador Sadique Baba Abubakar, urged the people of the area to re-elect the incumbent Governor Bala Mohammed, Presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and others in order to foster development in country.
Also speaking, the Campaign DG for Governor Bala Mohammed re-election, Hon. Farouk Mustapha enjoined the people of Bauchi state to ensure that only PDP candidates are elected in the coming elections.
While soliciting the support of Giade people ahead of the gubernatorial election, Hon. Farouk said even the political rivals of the governor cannot deny the fact that he has achieved a lot.
He assured that if the Governor, the Presidential candidate of the PDP and all others seeking elective positions are voted into power, Giade, Bauchi state and Nigeria as a whole are going to witness more dividends of democracy.
