Apparently, More Manchester United fans are calling for the sack of their current manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, after their 1-0 defeat against Aston Villa on Saturday at Old Trafford.
After two years of rebuilding, the summer signings of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho, and Raphael Varane changed expectations at Manchester United, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now struggling to live up to them.
Zinedine Zidane is one of the coaches who has been linked with the club, and the Frenchman could take over from Solskjaer if the Red Devils’ poor run of form continues.
Obviously, the way Zinedine Zidane will set up the team will be crucial for Manchester United’s revival, and in my opinion, here is the lineup he should use if he becomes the new coach of the club.
The Frenchman should line up with a 4-2-3-1 formation and should stick with David De Gea in goal ahead of Dean Henderson.
In Defense, Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane should start in center back while Luke Shaw and Wan Bissaka should take up the full back positions.
Zidane should move Fred to the bench and use Mc Tominay in defensive midfield. Paul Pogba should be used as a number 8, where he is more effective, while Bruno Fernandes should keep his place in attacking midfield.
In attack, Jardon Sancho and Mason Greenwood should be United’s first-choice wingers, while Cristiano Ronaldo should play as the striker.
Final Take: Zinedine Zidane is one of the favourites to take over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and using a 4-2-3-1 setup will bring out the best in the current Manchester United squad.
