I don’t even know what is happening. I don’t know the price of anything. I don’t go to the market. I send my chef and they don’t tell me what the price is,” she said.

“I hear there’s hardship in the country and I sympathise with Nigerians. I’m sure that it’s tough. I know because wigs are more expensive. Makeup, nails, cars, houses, everything is more expensive. Those things I know. But I’m not really into tomatoes.. I’m sure food is expensive.

“It’s sad because people are suffering, I’m sure because we see things on social media. I also went to the market one time at Ogba, and I cried that day because I saw how people were suffering. People were reacting to N50,000 like it was N5 million. That shows how badly people are suffering.

“It’s very sad. We hope that we’ll have a country one day where the average Nigerian can at least feed.

“That should be the basics. But we are not there yet. I hope we get there one day. I don’t want to talk about politics because I don’t really know much about politics.

“I just think Nigeria is a shithole with this kind of leadership. The issue is that the people that are obligated to care about us don’t care about us.

“I don’t know that there would be a solution anytime soon. So I tell people do your best to fend for yourself and family and if you have the opportunity to relocate abroad, do.”

Written By Sunny Green Itodo

The post ‘I only hear there’s hardship, don’t know price of anything’ – BBNaija Doyin appeared first on The DailyNewswave.

<post-id xmlns="com-wordpress:feed-additions:1">14937</post-id>

Big Brother Naija All Stars: All eyes on fan favourites

Editor

Entertainment

News

BBNAIJA

BBNaijaAllStars

By Oghenovo Egodo-Michael The eighth season of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show, dubbed, the ‘All-Star’ edition, starts today. She takes over from Pere, a fellow wildcard after serving as his Deputy Head of House during the previous week. She appoints Boma as her Deputy Head of House.

Playing the game

The Head of House Game Mat had 35 steps and each Housemate had 60 seconds to make it the farthest on the course to win. It wasn’t a smooth course either as they had to contend with several obstacles on the way. Maria was lucky enough to make it the farthest. She made it to box 28 to secure victory. It wasn’t an easy win for her as she luckily edged out Saskay by two points in a keenly contested game.

HoH Perks

Unfortunately, Maria has been barred from the Head of House Lounge alongside Liquorose and Peace for infringing on House Rules so she gets to remain in the common room with the rest of the Housemates. This means Boma gets to have the HoH Bedroom to himself and when asked to pick someone to share the Bedroom with, he picked Jackie B making it the second time he will be sharing the HoH Bedroom with her.

The post Maria Becomes The Head of House -BBNAIJA appeared first on The DailyNewswave.

<post-id xmlns="com-wordpress:feed-additions:1">780</post-id>

<!-- Performance optimized by W3 Total Cache.
