A sugar cane trailer that collapsed at the Amukpe roundabout in Sapele, Delta State’s Sapele Local Government Area, is said to have killed six people.
The incident occurred on Friday night of August 9, DAILY POST learnt.
The victims, who were waiting for transportation to Warri, died instantly..
Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe is yet to pick calls nor reply to text message sent to him for confirmation by our correspondent in Warri.
As of the time of filing this report, police operatives were seen trying to forestall any breakdown of law and order along the road.
