A well known human rights activist, Adeyanju Deji has reacted, after the former governor of Sokoto State and the senator representing the good people of Sokoto North Senatorial Zone, Aliyu Wamakko was reportedly named as Vice Chairman of the senate committee on Anti Corruption and financial crimes.
According to a post he made on his verified twitter handle earlier today, Adeyanju Deji made it known that senator Aliyu Wamakko representing Sokoto North, who is currently under EFCC probe for a ₦15bn fraud was named Vice Chairman of the Senate Committee on Anti Corruption and financial crimes.
Speaking further, he stated it clearly that with his present role, the Sokoto State born Senator is expected to carry out oversight functions on the EFCC activities.
