Russia has demanded that Ukraine surrenders three regions and disband its national army in order for peace to reign.
Russia handed down the two conditions, as necessary to stop the ongoing war which had entered Day 12.
According to a report by the Mirror, Kremlin wants Ukraine “demilitarised” and demanded that Donetsk and Lugansk become independent states.
The regions have witnessed battles between Russian backed separatists and Ukrainian forces for eight years.
The Federation has also demanded that Ukraine recognise Crimea as part of Russia.
A spokesperson for the Russian government listed the conditions ahead of today’s peace talks.
