Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, a former governor of Oyo State is dead.
Akala died in the early hours of Wednesday in Igbomoso. He was aged 71 years old.
It was gathered that he had slumped while in the bathroom and was found dead.
Born in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Akala served as Governor of the state from 2007 to 2011. He was also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
