Mentoring School for Early-years Educators (MSEE) Consult, a professional platform providing support for pre-school educators, has called for best practices in childcare services.

The Communications Director of MSEE Consult, Mrs Funmi Ilori and Anuoluwapo Akinola, the Training Director, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

They said that the pre-school teachers required special skills and knowledge for excellent services.

Ilori added that, in an effort to support quality early childhood education, MSEE Consult would hold a two-day retreat for the educators to develop their skills.

The officials said that the retreat would focus on professional development and networking.

According to Ilori, the event to hold at Yaba, Lagos State, from Aug. 31 to Sept. 3, would have the theme: “Trailblazing Teachers: Innovators for 21st Century Education”.

“There will be intensive interactive sessions and engaging learning experiences for participants, which will help them to gain the skills and knowledge needed to provide quality childcare services,” she said.

The Communication Director of MSEE expressed the optimism that the retreat would be beneficial to school managements, teachers and pupils.

“The programme will address updates on teaching techniques,” she added. (NAN)
