Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi Wednesday afternoon arrived Jos, capital of Plateau state where he met the party’s governorship candidate for Saturday’s election Dr. Patrick Dakum.
Obi arrived the state shortly after the Supreme Court affirmed that Dr. Dakum is the authentic governorship candidate of the Labour Party for the state.
Already, a prominent Igbo leader, Amb John Chukwudi Metchie, has expressed appreciation to the Labour Party leader and presidential candidate Peter Obi for visiting Plateau at such a short notice to give moral support to Dr Dakum.
Metchie who is the Prime Minister of the Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU) as well as the African Director of the International Association of World Peace Advocates, said the visit of Mr. Obi would also encourage Igbos living in Plateau state to troop out massively to vote Dakum on Saturday.
