An Abuja-based pastor, Amadi Amadi, and his son, Thankgod Amadi, are currently in police custody over the discovery of a mutilated female corpse dumped at PW bridge in Kubwa, Abuja.
The dou’s arrest followed a tip-off by a tricycle rider, who led the police to Freedom Chapel International Church, Gbazango, Kubwa, where Amadi pastors.
The tricycle rider alleged that he was engaged by the pastor’s son to convey the three bags used in concealing the mutilated corpse and two dead animals.
Sources in the area said some community leaders in Gbazango where the church is located had briefed some heads of security agencies, traditional leaders, as well as representatives of the Bwari council chairman on the incident.
Earlier in the week, reports had emerge of the discovery of a corpse around PW bridge, which was cut into nine parts and mangled with a dead goat and dead dog before being dumped in the area.
