Former President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan and his wife Dame Patience Jonathan were in their home state, Bayelsa Saturday to attend the furneral of Pa Abraham Diri, father of the state Governor, Duoye Diri.
In a message, Jonathan said- “Today in Sampou in Kolokuma / Opukoma Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, my wife and I joined the Diri family and other dignitaries to pay our final respects to Pa Abrahim Diri, father of Governor of Bayelsa State.
Pa Diri was a celebrated teacher, a retired headmaster who nurtured many across the state to greatness.
I pray that God consoles Governor Diri and other members of the family and give them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
