Former Nigerian President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on Friday morning, arrived South Africa where he is scheduled to speak at the second edition of Kenneth Kaunda Memorial Lecture in Pretoria tomorrow.
Dr. Jonathan disclosed this through a Facebook post on his verified account.
He said- “I am pleased to have been warmly received early this morning at O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, by South African authorities and members of the Nigerian High Commission ahead of the Second Kenneth Kaunda Memorial Public Lecture holding in Pretoria this Saturday, where I will be speaking.
I commend the Kenneth Kaunda Children of Africa Foundation for the initiative of honouring the late sage and great Pan-Africanist in a remarkable way by endowing this annual lecture to immortalise his name.
I also thank the Centre for Policy Dialogue of Zambia and the Thabo Mbeki Foundation, who are partnering with them to ensure the success of this year’s lecture.
