After his performance against France in the Euro 2024 semi-final on Tuesday, Spain winger Lamine Yamal has been praised by former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand.
Yamal drew the game level in the first half, after Kolo Muani gave Les Bleus an early lead.
Dani Olmo then struck the winner before the interval.
Yamal became the youngest scorer in the history of the European Championship and was also named Man of the Match.
Ferdinand said on BBC One: “Yamal plays like someone who has been playing for a long time. He makes the right decisions in the right moments.
“The simplicity with which he plays is so rare. Normally you come in and you’re trying to prove yourself and you try too hard.
“He always makes the right decision.”
