Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, was given a one-game suspension after receiving a yellow card during Sunday’s 2-1 FA Cup quarterfinal victory against Bournemouth.
Referee Stuart Atwell booked Guardiola for dissent after striker Erling Haaland was brought down during the game.
Haaland was forced off with an apparent knee injury following a tackle from Lewis Cook.
The Norway striker signaled to be taken off as Bournemouth continued to play, which sparked an angry reaction from City.
Kevin De Bruyne could be seen exchanging words with Cook, while Guardiola was booked after making his thoughts known about the situation.
The yellow card is Guardiola’s third of this campaign and means he will not be on the touchline when City hosts Leicester in the Premier League on Wednesday.
Guardiola was booked during City’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal in September and their 3-2 win over Fulham in October.
