At least 8 directors in the service of the Federal Capital Territory Administration have been redeployed to other Secretariats, Departments and Agencies as part of efforts at reenergizing the SDAs for optimal service delivery to the public.
The FCT Minister, Mallam Muhammad Bello, who approved the redeployment, said the move take immediate effect.
FCTA in a press statement Friday evening, said the letters of redeployment were signed by Muhammad Bashir, Director, Human Resource Management, FCTA, on behalf of the FCT Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olusade Adesola.
The statement signed by the Director, Information and Communication, Muhammad Sule, listed the affected Directors to include Director of Administration, Prospect Ibe, who is now redeployed to take charge of Admin and Finance at the Economic Planning, Revenue Generation and Public Private Partnership Secretariat, Mr. Wadata Bodinga, now the Director of Traffic Management Department in the Transportation Secretariat, Engr. Ahmed Nahuche, a Director in the FCTA, now moved to Social Development Secretariat as Director, Department of Planning Research & Statistics, while the former Director of Finance & Accounts, Universal Basic Education, Mrs Pawa Justina has been redeployed as Director, Admin & Finance, Social Development Secretariat.
Others Directors affected by the redeployment include Mrs. Nanre Emeje, who has been moved to the FCT Treasury Department as Director of Budget, Felix Nwankwo, moved to Abuja Metropolitan Management Council as Director, Facility Maintenance & Management, Omoniyi Marufu, formerly Director, Facility Maintenance & Management is now Director of a newly established Department of Solid Minerals & Allied Matters under the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council, while Mr. Daniel Audu formerly, Director, Admin & Finance, Economic Planning, Revenue Generation and Public Private Partnership Secretariat, is to now handle affairs at the FCT Water Board as Director, Admin & Finance.
The Administration urged the newly redeployed officers to display utmost dedication and diligence in the discharge of their responsibilities, adding that they should rise to the challenges of their new offices.
