The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, Tuesday met with the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) as part of his engagements across the country towards winning the 2023 election.
The former vice president, who disclosed this in a post on his social media handles, said the event is taking place at the Ecumenical Centre in Abuja.
He wrote, “To recover Nigeria, we need to consult widely with all the critical stakeholders in our country.
“I am at the Ecumenical Centre in Abuja for my interactive session with the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). It promises to be a robust and fulfilling conversation.”
Nationwide has been told that top PDP leaders that accompanied the former vice president to the meeting with CAN leaders include his running mate and Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa; former Vice President Namadi Sambo; former Senate President Bukola Saraki; former Governor of Cross River State, Liyel Mike; former Governor Okwesilieze Nwodo, former Governor Aliyu Babangida and Chief Tom Ikimi.
