The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has extended the strike it embarked last month by right weeks.
The decision to extend the strike was taken at its National Executive Council meeting Sunday night/Monday.
The Union is yet to issue statement to that effect, but reports say the strike was extended to last till mid May, to further press home their demands from federal government
