Eze Cajetan Ifeanacho, the traditional leader of the Agbama autonomous community in Umuahia South LGA of Abia State, has urged the state’s communities to include law-abiding non-indigenous people in the planning and execution of local development projects.
Eze Ifeanacho, who made the call on Friday, said that discriminatory attitudes against non indigenes should be discouraged.
The traditional ruler, who disclosed that his administration is planning to install some law abiding non indigenes living in Agbama into his palace cabinet, said that such co-relationship would fast-track the progress and development of his community.
Eze Ifeanacho pointed out that love and unity among indigenes and those from other states who are law-abiding abiding, would produce transformation even as he called for an end to anything than hinders peaceful coexistence.
The monarch further appreciated the Abia State government for intervening in the gully erosion that destroyed some houses and crops in Agbama, saying that hope is being restored to the erosion victims in his domain.
