… As Safana LG Vice Chairman, APC leadership, serving councillors dump party
Ahead of the February 2023 polls, Katisna State ruling All Progressives Congress, APC has continued to lose its members to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Vice Chairman of Safana Local Government Area of the state, local government APC chairman, Secretary and four serving councillors have dumped the party for PDP.
Also, four elected councilors of Baure B, Tsaskiya, Babban Dohu and Zakka wards alongside hundreds of supporters were among those who defected to the PDP.
Announcing the defections during a PDP campaign rally tour in Safana, the governorship candidate of the party, Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke, said the leadership of the local chapter of the APC collapsed its structures for and commended their initiative.
