Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, in a statement approved the appointment of Ify Onyegbule as Director General and has been a member of the board of the Broadcast Corporation since 2021.
Ms. Ify Onyegbule seasoned broadcaster becomes the new Director General of Imo State Broadcasting Corporation (IBC) with immediate effect.
Congratulating Onyegbule, Governor Uzodimma urged her to use the wealth of experience and professional competence from the industry to work as the new Director General for the overall benefit of Imo State.
Ms. Onyegbule, a strategic Media and Communications expert, is a graduate of Mass Communication from the Ogun State Polytechnic. She has attended various courses locally and internationally which prepared her as an investigative reporter, social critic, publisher, author, and activist.
Her active 23 years of cumulative experience in the broadcast industry span 16 different Radio and television stations.
