Breaking: Remaining 23 Kaduna train hostages freed

The remaining 23 persons held hostage by bandits following the attack on Abuja-Kaduna bound train in March this year have been released.

Their release is said to have been facilitated by the Chief of Defence Staff Action committee (CDSAC).

A statement issued by the Secretary, Chief of Defence Staff Action committee (CDSAC), Prof Usman Yusuf, said the seven-man Presidential Committee assembled by Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor, secured the release and took custody of all the 23 remaining passengers held hostage by Boko Haram terrorists at 1600Hrs Wednesday.
