Presidential flagbearer of the main opposition party, Atiku Abubakar, has announced Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate in the forthcoming 2023 Presidential election.
Atiku, said after series of consultations with party faithfuls, arrived at the conclusion that his running mate must have the potential of being a president. In order words should be a president in waiting’
The former vice president while emphasising that his running mate must be courageous and symbol of unity of the country, said, and carry the seriousness the current situation of the country deserves.
“My running mate must understand that without security, development and foreign investment will be impossible.”
