…As he regains full control in Kano State

Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is fully back in control of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state as the Court of Appeal, today, Thursday, gave judgment in favour of his own faction.

As a consequence, the Malam Ibrahim Shekarau’s G-7 is in tears.

The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja upheld Prince Abdullahi Abbas as the authentic chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in the state.

The Appeal Court dismissed Sardaunan Kano’s faction prayers at a lower Court.

Recall that last year, at the Sani Abacha Stadium Indoor Sports Hall, elected delegates of the APC endorsed Prince Abbas as the authentic chairman of the ruling party in the ancient commercial city, through a consensus.

However, Shekarau’s faction, fronting Honourable Haruna Danzago, had in a parallel convention, upheld Danzago as the party’s chairman.

Following the Appeal Court judgment, Governor Ganduje has finally become the leader of the party.

In the judgment delivered on Thursday, the Appeal Court insisted that the FCT High Court lacks the jurisdiction to sit on the APC ward and local government council congresses which recognised Haruna Ahmadu Danzago as party chairman.
