Suspended DCP Abba Kyari has been arrested and taken into custody by the Nigeria Police.
Sources said Kyari was arrested Monday hours after he was declared wanted by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA for being a leading member of a drug ring.
Abba Kyari has been on suspension after he was named as a partner to cybercrime kingpin Hushpuppy who has been convicted in the US as waiting sentence.
The US authorities have demanded for the extradition of the Nigerian police officer.
