The late musician Mohbad’s brother, Adura Aloba, allegedly sought N3 million from him in exchange for a video showing the singer and his wife, Wunmi, bickering prior to his passing, according to Nollywood actress Yomi Fabiyi.

He claimed that the said video captured the moment Wunmi pushed Mohbad down the stairs and he broke his neck.

The movie star made the claim at a recent press conference in Lagos.

Fabiyi said, “At about 4:23pm, Adura Aloba, Mohbad’s younger brother, had sent me a DM after listening to me for a while and reacting in the comment section.

“When he realized I may not see the DM on time, he wrote in the comment section, asking I check my DM.

“He offered to give me a video recording of a fight that ensued between the late singer Mohbad and his wife, Cynthia.

“He demanded for N3 million. He went further to convince me by narrating how the altercation between his brother and his wife resulted in Mohbad failing off the stairs and hitting his head on the floor.

“Something that can equally be linked to the bent neck in the late singer’s casket.”

He said he demanded to see proof if the video existed, and Mohbad’s younger brother sent him a 3-second partly censored video.

The actor said when he previewed the video, there was a violent argument in the background.

He said he sent a petition to the Lagos State Police Criminal Investigation Department but was later invited and told that Mohbad’s brother was being impersonated.

Fabiyi said he discovered during his visit to the police that the investigation into Mohbad’s death was not coordinated.

Recall that Mohbad tragically passed away in a controversial manner in September 2023 after exiting Naira Marley’s Marlian Music over the alleged failure of the record label to fulfill the contract agreement.

The controversial nature of his death led to some people pointing fingers at wife wife Wunmi, his former label boss, Naira Marley, and his associate Samlarry, who was captured in a viral video assaulting the late singer before his death.
