Despite the Red Devils’ present struggles this season, Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of the Nassr, has maintained that he and manager Ruben Amorim will get along well.
According to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Amorim’s side would ‘continue the storm, but the storm will finish and the sun will rise.’
Man United currently sit in the 14th position on the Premier League table, after their recent 2-0 defeat against Wolves on Boxing Day.
Speaking at the Globe Soccer Awards ceremony on Friday, Ronaldo said:
“I knew it would be tough and they would continue the storm, but the storm will finish and the sun will rise.
“Fingers crossed things will be good with him and I hope the best for Man United because this is a club I still love”.
Ronaldo and Amorim were former teammates with the Portugal national team.
