No matter who is in charge of the Super Eagles, according to Victor Boniface, fans will always be critical of the squad.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has come under fire for not appointing a substantive head coach for the team since Finidi George left the post in June.
Opinion is also always divided on which coach (local or expatriate) should manage the team.
Boniface however said he doesn’t have a preference between local and expatriates.
“The truth is even if we bring in Guardiola, Nigerians will still have something to say, but I’m the type of person that doesn’t care about what people think, because they’re not here with the team,” the Bayer Leverkusen striker told Football Fans Tribe in an interview.
“Our job is to give it all on the pitch, and that’s it. It’s life. People will always criticize. So, no matter which coach you bring, people always have something to say.”
