Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has stated that he hopes the team’s legal dispute with the Premier League is settled quickly.
The champions have been charged with 115 alleged breaches of financial rules.
It has already been confirmed that City’s case in front of an independent panel will begin next month.
However, a verdict is not expected until next year.
Potential punishments for Guardiola’s men include points deduction, heavy fines and relegation from the top flight.
Guardiola said: “I am happy that it starts soon and hopefully it will finish soon.
