The presidential candidate of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has arrived Abuja for the party’s stakeholder’s meeting taking place today at the Bauchi Governor’s Lodge, Asokoro, Abuja.
Apart from Atiku, a former vice president of Nigeria, other PDP leaders who have arrived for the meeting include Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, and his Bauchi State counterpart, Bala Mohammed as well Governors Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa) and Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State.
This is coming after a recent one at the Abuja residence of the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Tom Ikimi.
Members of the party’s National Working Committee, National Assembly caucus members, and representatives of the party’s Board of Trustees are expected at the meeting.
