The Permanent Secretary also used the occasion to felicitate with NYSC on the recent commemoration of its 50th anniversary, even as he assured the management of NYSC of FCT Administration’s continuous support and partnership for the promotion of the country’s national unity and cohesion.

On his part, the Director General of National Youth Service Corps, Brig. General YD Ahmed described the meeting as germane considering that it is taking place at a time the Scheme is celebrating its 50th anniversary of uninterrupted existence.

Earlier, in his welcome speech, the Director, Corps Mobilisation, Hajia Isa Walida explained that the meeting became necessary following the observation by the management that the Students Affairs Officers and Data Entry Officers who represent various Institutions in the NYSC mobilization interface have limited managerial ability to drive the process.
