Eight Ifo High School secondary school pupils were taken into custody by Ogun State Police Command agents for allegedly participating in cult-related activities on school property.
The arrested students aged 15 years are Bennett Bolawatife, Aluko Taiwo, and Kehinde Aluko, while Omolaso Waris, Akinola Ifeoluwa, Azeez Hassan, Kilani Babatunde aka Soldier, and Fasedemi Samuel are aged 16.
Confirming the arrest to DAILY POST on Saturday, the police spokesperson, Omolola Odutola, said the arrest followed an alarm raised by the school headship over an emerging gang of student cultists.
