Senator Rochas Okorocha has officially declared intention to contest the office of the president of Nigeria in the 2023 general election.
Okorocha, former governor of Former Imo State and Senator representing Imo West district, made the declaration Monday at a World Press Conference at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.
He had earlier last week made his intention known on the floor of the Senate.
Okorocha promised that, if elected, he will reunite the country, adding that past leaders have failed to tackle the challenge of disunity.
He also promised free access to education, from basic to secondary school level, among others.
