The Nigerian Super Eagles who sparkled all through the first round matches of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon were bundled out of the competition by the Tunisian National side on Sunday.

The Eagles succumbed one nill to the Cattage Eagles of Tunisia. The only goal was scored by Maskni in the 47th minute of the encounter.

While the Super Eagles were chasing for an equalizer, their situation went from bad to worst when Everton FC player, Alex Iwobi who was not long on the pitch after coming in to replace Kelechi Iheanacho who had already bagged a yellow card was sent off for a foul against a Tunisian player.

The Austin Eguavoen led team had flattered to deceive as they brush through their matches in the first round, a situation that led to many pundits predicting the team winning the trophy.

All the money bags in Nigeria including President Muhammadu Buhari had bombarded them with all manner of financial pledges which may have led to distracting the boys from giving their best.
